Executives from The Advisory Board Company, Florida Blue, Memorial Health Network and Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization are among the speakers slated for the third annual Health Forum, “Clinical Integration, ACOs and the Future of Health Care Delivery,” hosted by the Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel. The event will be held on October 4, 2013 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, Fla. Registration starts at noon, with presentations beginning at 12:45 p.m., followed by a 4:30 p.m. networking cocktail hour for participants, sponsors and speakers.

The keynote speaker of the Health Forum is Russell Davis, MBA, who is a managing director for The Advisory Board Company (http://www.advisory.com), a global research, consulting, and technology firm partnering with 125,000 leaders in 3,200 organizations across health care and higher education.
Russell serves as a business and operational leader in The Advisory Board Company’s Industry Vertical and IT Suite, where he is responsible for strategy, operations, consulting, and new product development. His recent work has focused on the role of information technology on health care reform.
Also speaking at the Broad and Cassel Health Forum will be Dr. Jonathan Gavras, Senior Vice President of Delivery System and Chief Medical Officer for Florida Blue; Esther Surujon, CEO of Memorial Health Network; and Dr. Hymin Zucker, the medical director of Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization.
In addition, comments will be delivered by nationally-known health law attorneys, Mike Segal and Gabriel Imperato, partners with the statewide law firm Broad and Cassel. Segal, who chairs the firm’s Health Law Practice Group, will address current medical ventures, while Imperato, the managing partner of the Fort Lauderdale office and chair of the White Collar Defense and Compliance Practice Group, will moderate a panel discussion on clinical integration. The firm’s chair of the Government Relations Practice Group, Douglas Mannheimer, will offer an update on the 2013 Florida legislative session as it pertains to health care.
