The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics’ 2015 Compliance and Ethics Institute will bring together over 1,500 professionals from across industry and the globe for networking and more than 100 conference sessions. Imperato is the executive board president of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), which are member-based associations for compliance and ethics professionals with a combined membership of more than 14,200 globally. He, along with the executive committee and board of directors, is charged with championing ethical practice and compliance standards for the health care industry while positioning SCCE/HCCA as an industry leader.
A national expert on fraud and abuse, reimbursement and antitrust matters in the health care field, Imperato was one of the first attorneys in the country to be Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) by HCCA. His personal practice includes representing individuals and organizations accused of health care fraud, and assisting and advising health care organizations on corporate governance and compliance matters.
